paper circuits is a sound installation consisting of five
loudspeakers, each one covered with a pile of papersheets. With a
prepared pencil one can create his own visual as well as sonic
composition. By drawing on the paper and placing audio contacts on
different locations of the graphite tracks the loudspeaker underneath
will start to sound. Each visitor will build his individual
configuration and create continuously new sound collages and
associations out of a repository that carries sonic references to
utopian movies, novels and scientific texts on societal ideas.
